    courses: Municipal Engineering, Technical Infrastructure, Renewable
    Energy Resources Techniques, Natural use of Waste, Natural Compensation, Reclamation

    The module focuses on the environmental issues and tasks that contribute to the quality of life of the society through municipal, environmental protection and reclamation technologies.
    This includes, among other introduction to specifics of administration schemes and bodies, municipal engineering including management and disposal of waste, maintenance of public parks, water supply systems, treatment of water, and numerous similar responsibilities related to maintenance of on-going services.

    Studies in environmental technology cover also various topics like including renewable energy, environmental management, waste management, eco-design,environmental engineering, and product production.

  • Rural development module [Major Course]

    Engineering, Animal Production

    The module is focused at training students in ways of improving economic, social and environmental conditions in rural areas, using a multi-layer approach.
    The first layer building of understanding of fundamental crop production technologies. The following layers combine planning, supervising and managing tasks like irrigation, drainage, flood and water control systems, perform environmental impact assessments, agricultural product processing, forestry production, economics and management, animal technology (breeding, health and feeding).

  • Planning management module [Major Course]

    Valorisation, Remote Sensing and GIS, Tourism and Recreation

    The module comprises introduction and training in evaluation of natural resources and conditions available in the environment, application environmental and municipal space information technology, and GIS technologies.
    Both local and country-wide programmers and approaches are included in the scope of the module. Interested students may also choose to pursue training in tourism and recreation problems (specifically agro- tourism) on top of the other courses of this module.

    courses: Nature Conservation, Protection and Environmental Monitoring, Environmental Management, Environmental Protection Law The module is aimed at introducing to and training in the application of environmental science tools and practices to conservation of environment and natural resources, while working toward sustainable living and development. Teaching programme in this module also covers environmental planning, environmental policy and legislation.

  • Soil science and hydrology module [Major Course]

    courses: Soil Science, Hydrology

    The module aims at conveying knowledge on soil formation factors and soil properties enabling to understand conditions decisive to soil fertility, both in agrosystems and in natural sites. Students should be able to familiarize themselves with basic knowledge on water resources, their circulation in both global and regional scale, in a way enabling understanding of usage of water resources, their degradation and protection.
