In common with all other significant industries, the leisure and recreation sector and the countryside / land management sector is developing and applying sustainable resource management practices.

This is driven by a combination of factors including environmental and social legislation plus economic and market forces.

This module will enable students to develop a sound understanding of the principles of sustainability as they apply to leisure and recreation sector and the management of the environmental resources they depend upon.
