The module is focused at training students in ways of improving economic, social and environmental conditions in rural areas, using a multi-layer approach.
The first layer building of understanding of fundamental crop production technologies. The following layers combine planning, supervising and managing tasks like irrigation, drainage, flood and water control systems, perform environmental impact assessments, agricultural product processing, forestry production, economics and management, animal technology (breeding, health and feeding).
