To present the approaches used to prepare a landscape and visual impact assessment (LVIA) for different forms of development. Impact on landscape resources; impact on visual resources; methods of assessing and presenting LVIA; analysis and visualization techniques. To provide the students with knowledge, skills and understanding needed to prepare a LVIA for a major development. This course is given in conjunction with the EIA course.
