The students will be introduced to the basic economic principles of the sustainable management of natural resources in EU. The basic theoretical approaches will be presented and illustrated with the examples. Practical calculations help students to understand the scope of the models. Different functions of natural resources in the economical and ecological framework are studied. The efficiency, optimality and sustainability of the management of renewable as well exhaustible natural resources are in the scope of the course.
