In lectures means of vector and raster analysis and benefits of model building in ArcGIS will be introduced. In practical work suitability analysis applying vector analysis tools of MapInfo and ArcGIS will be learned. MAPublisher and Adobe Illustrator will be used to create high quality maps based on results of vector analysis provided by GIS programs. ArcGIS will be used to introduce raster analysis tools and model building.
