This module aims to provide students with a sound comprehension of the technical and practical issues associated with the conservation of species and habitats.
The module focuses on the techniques required to produce successful management solutions for a range of species and habitat types that commonly occur within the UK.

Students will develop competencies in recognizing and evaluating the existing and potential conservation value of habitats and their associated key species.
Particular reference will focus on the use of management options available under agri-environment schemes.
